GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with copper(II). The free tripeptide is C₁₄H₂₄N₆O₄ at 340.38 g/mol; the neutral 1:1 copper complex is catalogued separately as PubChem CID 10111685, C₁₄H₂₂CuN₆O₄ at 401.91 g/mol. Those are two different molecular weights, which matters the moment you calculate a molarity. Watch the protonation state as well: PubChem also carries anionic and cationic records for the same complex at slightly different masses, so match the record to the material you actually hold. It is one of the more heavily studied small peptides in the biochemistry literature, with published research dating back to the 1970s. Researchers in cell biology, cosmetic chemistry, and analytical peptide chemistry routinely source GHK-Cu reference material for benchmarking.
